Sometimes, a movie needs to remind its audience the title of said film. Which always comes in the form of one of the characters telling it on screen. I never knew how common this was until a recent super-cut spliced together over 150 different movies in which one of the characters speaks the movie’s title.

And it’s not a new invention either — it goes back a looong way, all the way to the film noir times of the 1940s.
